The Dutch Air Mobile Brigade has successfully completed its final CIDW Rotation 51 training exercise in Aruba, marking the end of the unit’s deployment cycle.
The week-long exercise tested soldiers’ physical endurance, teamwork and operational skills through a series of demanding challenges. Training included water transport operations, climbing and descending the Julian Bridge, a marathon at Fort Nassau, navigating Tafelberg, and live-fire exercises at Wakawa.
Participants completed long-distance marches while carrying heavy equipment and operating on limited sleep, demonstrating resilience and readiness under demanding conditions.
With Rotation 51 now complete, preparations are underway for CIDW Rotation 52 to begin its training period.
