ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Fundación Chico Harms, together with N.V. ELMAR and its partners, has officially launched the 2026 Dia di Brazil Season, featuring the Festival Cantica di Caya as one of its signature cultural events.
The festival aims to encourage the creation of Creole music while preserving Aruba’s traditional musical heritage. Visitors will enjoy performances featuring Tambu, Danza, Tumba and Mazurka, all important elements of the island’s cultural identity.
Festival Cantica di Caya will be held on July 24 and 25 at Centro di Bario Brazil.
ELMAR is serving as an official sponsor for the second consecutive year, continuing its support for cultural and community initiatives as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
The Dia di Brazil Season begins in July with the Parada Acústico, continues with Festival Cantica di Caya, and concludes in September with the Parada di Lanterna and the Grand Cultural Folklore Parade.
Organizers encourage the community to take part in the celebrations and enjoy Aruba’s rich cultural traditions.
