ORANJESTAD – Police and paramedics responded early Saturday morning to a motorcycle crash in Cumana that left the rider seriously injured.
According to preliminary information, the motorcyclist may have been under the influence and is believed to have lost control of the motorcycle before crashing. Authorities have not confirmed the cause of the accident.
Paramedics treated the injured rider at the scene before transporting the victim to hospital for urgent medical care.
Police remained at the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
