ORANJESTAD (AAN) – A woman was injured and taken to hospital after reportedly suffering a medical emergency while driving on Aruba’s Green Corridor on Friday morning.
Police and ambulance personnel responded to the scene after receiving reports of a traffic collision. Upon arrival, officers found that the driver of a Kia Optima had apparently become ill behind the wheel, causing the vehicle to leave its path and crash into a roadside guardrail.
The impact left the driver injured. Paramedics treated her at the scene before transporting her to hospital for further medical evaluation and treatment.
Authorities responded promptly to secure the area and assist the injured driver. The incident remains under investigation.
