Twelve Dutch Students Complete IPA Aruba Minor Programme 2026

ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Twelve Dutch students have successfully completed the Minor Globalization, Diversity, Multilingualism and Education 2026 programme at IPA Aruba, concluding the academic experience with final presentations showcasing their professional growth and practice-based research.

Held on June 18 and June 22, the presentations highlighted the students’ internship experiences, personal and professional development, and research projects focused on educational topics within Aruba’s multilingual and multicultural environment.

Throughout the programme, participants explored issues related to globalization, diversity, multilingual education, sustainability, and intercultural teaching. Their research addressed topics including classroom motivation, differentiated instruction, translanguaging, digital learning, movement-based education, contextual learning, music in education, and early childhood teaching strategies.

Students represented several Dutch institutions, including HAN University of Applied Sciences, KPZ Zwolle, Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, and iPabo Amsterdam and Alkmaar. They completed internships at schools across Aruba, including La Salle College, San Antonio MAVO, EduCampus, Colegio Nigel Matthew, Mon Plaisir Basisschool, and De Schakel Basisschool.

IPA Aruba thanked the participating universities, internship schools, mentors, supervisors, and staff for supporting the programme and congratulated all twelve students on successfully completing the Minor Programme 2026, wishing them continued success in their teaching careers.
