On the night of June 15, a young tourist under the influence of substances caused trouble at several establishments in Aruba’s high-rise hotel area. A security guard approached to talk to the tourist, but the tourist struck the guard, knocking them to the ground. Other security personnel restrained the situation. Upon police arrival, both the tourist and the guard were detained and taken to Shaba police station. Witnesses confirmed that the tourist was behaving disruptively and under the influence.
