Local police and ambulance services were dispatched to Rooi Bosal on Monday morning following reports of a traffic accident resulting in injuries.
Upon arriving at the scene, authorities established that the driver of a Toyota Yaris lost control on a wet road surface. The vehicle subsequently crashed into a Jeep Gladiator, causing the Jeep to swerve into a nearby ditch. The collision resulted in damage to a section of a wooden fence in the area.
Due to the severity of the impact, the driver of the Toyota Yaris sustained injuries. Paramedics treated the victim at the site following the arrival of the ambulance.
