Robert Thiel, the father of artist Jonathan Thiel who is widely known as Jeon, has arrived in Curaçao to support his son during the match against Aruba. Thiel traveled to the island with media representatives from 24ora to cover the various events surrounding the match. His visit focuses on supporting Jeon, who is set to deliver a special presentation in Curaçao associated with the “Blue Wave” atmosphere.
Robert Thiel shared details about his relationship with his son and their shared journey. He noted that while he is not intimately familiar with the specific schedule of Jeon, he remains steadfast in his support. Thiel remarked on the passage of time, observing that when Jeon was a child, he was always the one taking his father along. Now, as a father, Thiel is the one accompanying his son to support his endeavors.
Thiel discussed the significant impact of the football environment and the popularity of the song “Mama wak,” which he stated has caused a furor. He revealed that the song was produced before Curaçao secured its qualification, highlighting that this approach exemplifies “working with vision” as they created it without knowing the team would advance. Furthermore, Thiel mentioned that Jeon also has a successful song in Panama titled “Pato.” Preparations for the Curaçao versus Aruba match are extensive.
