Early Friday morning, police dispatch received a notification concerning an incident at a nightclub involving a female tourist. The individual, identified in reports as being significantly under the influence, claimed she had been treated poorly by a security guard at the establishment. Consequently, a police patrol was directed to the location to investigate the complaint.
When the patrol arrived, they engaged with the security team to understand the sequence of events. The security personnel explained that a group of Peruvian tourists had been drinking heavily and had started to harass a different group of tourists from the United States. The female tourist specifically became aggressive and disruptive toward other patrons in the venue.
According to the security report, the woman was asked to leave the premises to de-escalate the situation. However, she refused to exit voluntarily, prompting security to escort her out. Police officers attempted to interview the woman regarding her allegations of mistreatment. Due to her intoxicated state, she was unable to provide a coherent statement at that time. The police advised her to wait until she was sober and visit the station the next morning if she wished to file an official report with the authorities.
