Michelin Star Chef Jeremy Ford is scheduled to visit Terra restaurant at Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort from May 29 to June 1, 2026. The visit aims to refine the restaurant’s menu and oversee its continued development as the establishment approaches its first anniversary. During his stay, Ford will lead the local Aruban team, which includes Chef Jeanclaude Werleman, Chef Moises Ramirez, and General Manager Jessika Theysen, in maintaining a standard of passion and discipline.
Located in an environment described as modern and intimate, Terra has consistently sold out to both locals and tourists. The restaurant has recently gained international recognition, with Forbes mentioning it among the island’s notable fine-dining experiences. As part of a commitment to the community, the owners of Terra and Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort, alongside Chef Ford, will plant 10 trees in the Bucuti Tara GMC Nature Preserve to support local flora and fauna.
The restaurant’s culinary style combines creativity and technique with a focus on ingredient quality. Signature dishes include the Roasted Truffle Chicken, the dish for which Chef Ford earned his Michelin star, alongside Crunchy Papas Bravas and Wagyu Beef Tartar with Bone Marrow. Dessert offerings feature a Warm Bread Pudding made with Pan Boyo. Terra is currently expanding its menu for the next season, and reservations are available for those wishing to experience the culinary updates during the chef’s visit.
