Moises Fernandez, President of the Aruba Taekwondo Federation (ARTBO), was present at the Cas Bon Taekwondo Cup. The event was organized by the Brazil Taekwondo Stichting and took place at the Centro di Bario Brazil.
During the tournament, Fernandez congratulated the five international referees who officiated the matches. These referees were responsible for guiding the fights and ensuring the protection of the athletes during their performances. The duty of the referee is to maintain transparency in every bout, ensuring that matches are conducted in a clean manner. They are tasked with awarding penalty points or extra points only when the athlete’s actions merit such decisions.
In addition to recognizing the officials, the ARTBO President congratulated the athletes of Taekwondo Team Aruba. He acknowledged their participation in various Taekwondo events, noting that they have achieved considerable success. Fernandez commended the athletes for the prizes they have won and for their dedicated representation of Aruba in the sport.
