SAN NICOLAS — Painting has commenced on a new mural in San Nicolas dedicated to world-class athlete Egmond Molina. The project, led by renowned artist Paul Wong, honors the local strongman who holds 13 Guinness World Records and is ranked among the top 10 strongest athletes globally.

Minister of Social Affairs Wendrick Cicilia attended the start of the painting process. He emphasized the importance of recognizing local heroes in their own community, particularly in the Pariba di Brug area. “Egmond Molina is an elite athlete whose story is an inspiration for our youth,” Cicilia said.

The mural is expected to become a landmark in the city, which is known for its vibrant street art. Molina expressed his pride in the tribute, noting that having his achievements celebrated in his hometown is a special honor that strengthens national pride.
