ORANJESTAD (AAN): Challenges related to census registration are impacting the processing of permits in Aruba, according to recent discussions involving government officials.
The Aruba Permit Census Issues were highlighted by AVP faction leader Jennifer Arends-Reyes, who shared details following a meeting with DIMAS and the Minister of Justice.
During the meeting, it was explained that although staffing may be available, delays in census registration prevent individuals from being properly documented, creating obstacles in obtaining permits.
These issues also affect employment opportunities, as employers often require proof of residence. Without proper registration, individuals may face difficulties securing jobs or accessing benefits such as AZV.
The Aruba Permit Census Issues create bottlenecks in the system, impacting both workers and employers, and slowing down administrative processes.
Arends-Reyes noted that the matter has the attention of the minister and that efforts are underway to address the situation in the coming months.
The Aruba Permit Census Issues remain an important concern as authorities work toward improving efficiency and access within the system.
