ORANJESTAD (AAN) – The Aruba One Happy Island Lions Club (OHIL) has officially announced the winners of its successful Harley Davidson raffle, along with several other prizes. According to OHIL President, Mrs. Alliyuri Arends, the initiative was led by Old Skool Bikers, in collaboration with Aruba One Happy Island Lions Club and Aruba Lions Club.
The primary goal was to unite local organizations, businesses, and the community to support service projects that benefit Aruba. President Arends expressed her pride in the success of the initiative, highlighting that its achievement is a clear reflection of the community’s ability to work together toward a common goal—serving the island’s needs.
The grand prize, a Harley Davidson motorcycle, was awarded to Mr. Jarvis Winklaar with ticket number 9568, which was blessed by Aruba One Happy Island Lions Club. The second prize went to ticket number 6991, which was blessed by Old Skool Bikers, and the third prize was awarded to ticket number 8539, also blessed by the Aruba One Happy Island Lions Club.
The Lions Club thanked local businesses, organizations, Lions friends, the community, as well as the press and media, for their collaboration and support throughout the raffle period. Their collective efforts contributed to a significant goal: helping those in need.
President Arends emphasized that the raffle results represent more than just a fundraising event. It reflects the Lions’ continuous dedication to strengthening their ability to assist those in need, ultimately contributing to a stronger, more united, and compassionate Aruba.
