ORANJESTAD, Aruba — The first week of March was filled with unforgettable moments for animal lovers in Aruba. On March 6 and 7, One Love Foundation Inc. hosted a series of events that raised over $27,000 for Aruba’s animal welfare, furthering their mission to improve the lives of the island’s animals. The funds raised will directly contribute to the prevention of animal suffering and support for local animal welfare organizations.
The week kicked off with an exclusive Gallery Reading by spiritual medium Tiffany Rice, who has been a longstanding partner of One Love Foundation. The event, which was held on March 6, was filled with emotion and meaningful connections, drawing the Aruba community together in support of a noble cause. Tiffany Rice has worked with the foundation on multiple occasions and has helped raise thousands of dollars for the animals of Aruba.
The following evening, the 2nd Annual Paws-itively Hilarious Stand-Up Comedy Benefit, held on March 7, was another remarkable success. Hosted by comedian Ray Ellin at the Eagle Aruba Resort, the event brought laughter, joy, and compassion to the audience. Ray Ellin, along with fellow comedians Kermet Apio, Tony V, and Carolyn Plummer, kept the crowd entertained throughout the evening, raising the spirits of all present while raising money for Aruba’s animals.
Ray Ellin, a key member of the One Love Foundation’s Fundraising Board, has played an essential role in organizing comedy events in Aruba and New York. Thanks to the generosity of Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort, this year’s fundraising efforts helped raise over $134,000 to support Aruba’s animal welfare programs. The events, including the comedy show and gallery reading, highlighted the importance of community collaboration and the significant impact that local and international contributions can have on the island’s animal welfare initiatives.
Looking ahead, One Love Foundation is already planning the first annual PAW FEST, set to take place on April 18, 2026, in collaboration with Stimami Sterilisami, Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort, and The Village Mall at Palm Beach. This event will continue the foundation’s mission of providing essential veterinary care, sterilization efforts, and support for local animal welfare organizations.
One Love Foundation, a nonprofit organization based in the United States and Aruba, is committed to improving the lives of Aruba’s vulnerable animals through compassion, collaboration, and community support. With every event and donation, the foundation helps create lasting, positive change for the animals in Aruba.
