Recently, Aruban Military Promotion and Training took center stage with a special ceremony honoring the successful completion of the Prome Formacion Militar (EMV CARMIL) by soldiers from Aruba and Curaçao. This event highlights the strengthening of military forces in the Caribbean and the deepening collaboration between the two countries.
The Curaçao Military (CURMIL) successfully completed the Prome Formacion Militar, which is a comprehensive program that combines intensive physical and mental training. The focus of this program is to ensure that soldiers are fully prepared for peacekeeping duties and various security operations in the Caribbean region.
In addition to the EMV CARMIL training, soldiers from both Curaçao (CURMIL) and Aruba (ARUMIL) earned promotions to Korporaal as part of the Formacion Profesional Avansa (VVO CARMIL). A total of 7 military aspirants received promotions, which further bolsters the joint forces of Aruba and Curaçao.
The Aruban Military Promotion and Training ceremony was attended by notable figures, including the Governor of Curaçao, the Prime Minister of Curaçao, and the Commander of the Caribbean Marine. These leaders emphasized the significance of continued collaboration between Caribbean nations, particularly in contributing to the security and stability of the region.

- 8 military personnel from CURMIL officially promoted.
- 5 military personnel from ARUMIL to be promoted in Aruba soon.
- 7 Korporaal aspirants from both forces successfully promoted.
