Aruba Eagle Beach has been recognized as the most relaxing beach in the Caribbean and ranked No. 2 in the world in a recent study conducted by Hot Springs Spas. The study, which analyzed Tripadvisor reviews for the keyword “relaxing,” revealed that Eagle Beach in Palm, Aruba, received 224 mentions of “relaxing,” placing it just behind Tropea Beach in Italy.
Eagle Beach is known for its stunning white sands and crystal-clear waters. It’s also famous for its iconic fofoti trees, which have become symbolic features of the island and are frequently featured in Aruba’s promotional campaigns and on Instagram. The beach is also home to the largest number of sea turtle nests on the island, so visitors are urged to be cautious where they step.
The only beach more relaxing than Eagle Beach is Tropea Beach, located in Italy on the Coast of the Gods. With 30-meter-high cliffs and cerulean waters, Tropea Beach earned the top spot, with 300 mentions of “relaxing” in Tripadvisor reviews.
Other beaches that made the list include Playa Norte in Mexico (No. 3), followed by Balandra Beach in Mexico, Ka’anapali Beach in Maui, Playa Varadero in Cuba, Manly Beach in Australia, Poipu Beach Park in Hawaii, Bavaro Beach in the Dominican Republic, and Anse Lazio in Seychelles, rounding out the top 10.
The study highlights how valuable relaxation and wellness are for travelers, with many seeking beach destinations for mental and physical benefits.
