A Las Americas roundabout rear-end collision occurred Sunday morning after a driver failed to regulate speed and maintain a safe distance while approaching the roundabout.
Police received a report of the accident and immediately dispatched a patrol unit to the Las Americas roundabout. Upon arrival, officers confirmed that the incident involved two vehicles.
Driver Failed to Maintain Distance
Initial reports indicate that the Las Americas roundabout rear-end collision happened when a female driver operating a Hyundai Accent approached the roundabout from the upper road but did not properly regulate her speed or maintain a safe following distance.
As a result, the vehicle struck the rear of the car in front of her, causing the collision.
No Injuries Reported
Fortunately, the Las Americas roundabout rear-end collision did not result in any injuries. Authorities confirmed that both drivers were safe despite the impact.
