ORANJESTAD (AAN): The atmosphere at Instituto Medico San Nicolas (ImSan) was filled with sorrow as ImSan Employees Informed Personally Director Passed Away during a deeply emotional Monday morning.

The Board of Directors and Management Team of ImSan officially confirmed the passing of their director, Drs. Joel Rajnherc. After battling serious health challenges over the past year and successfully overcoming cancer, Drs. Rajnherc unfortunately faced secondary complications. Early Monday morning, the heartbreaking news was received that he had passed away.

Out of respect for the strong personal connection he maintained with staff, management made the decision that ImSan Employees Informed Personally Director Passed Away rather than communicating the news through written announcements alone. Each employee was individually informed, recognizing the close relationships Drs. Rajnherc had built throughout the institution.

Drs. Joel Rajnherc was more than a hospital director. He was a leader who valued every employee personally. Colleagues describe him as someone who knew staff members individually, understood their strengths, and consistently showed genuine care for their well-being.

Throughout his career, Drs. Rajnherc dedicated many years of medical service to the community of Aruba. He initially served as a pediatrician, touching the lives of countless families with his compassionate care. Later, as director of ImSan, he became a visionary leader who helped shape the institution into a respected medical center.

The decision that ImSan Employees Informed Personally Director Passed Away reflects the deep sense of unity within the hospital. Staff members recall his open-door leadership style, his patience in listening, and his commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery.

The Board and Management Team described his passing as leaving “an immense void.” However, they also expressed confidence that the ImSan family will continue his legacy with integrity, perseverance, and dedication to the community.

Drs. Joel Rajnherc leaves behind a profound legacy not only for Aruba’s healthcare system but also for the entire ImSan family. His influence extended beyond medicine; he inspired collaboration, compassion, and professionalism.

The Board of Directors and Management Team extended their heartfelt condolences to his wife Sandy, his children Cassandra (Sam) and Joel (Riven), his extended family, and the entire ImSan community during this difficult time.

The message remains clear: ImSan Employees Informed Personally Director Passed Away, honoring a leader whose impact will not be forgotten.
