Yesterday afternoon, students from Maria Goretti College, Colegio Pastoor Kranwinkel, and Ayo Kleuterschool came together for a lively Carnival parade that lasted well into the night.
With music by D’Nova and performances by all the participants from Soca Monarch, the parade began at Colegio Pastoor Kranwinkel, making its way through the Paradera area, traveling along the main road as night fell, and finally concluding back at the school.
Maria Goretti College and Ayo Kleuterschool joined the parade with the theme Building the Future, with students dressed as workers in safety vests and hard hats, dancing and jumping energetically throughout the route.
Colegio Pastoor Kranwinkel showcased a circus theme, with students wearing colorful, imaginative costumes. It was a beautiful sight as many spectators lined the streets, particularly along the main road, to watch the parade pass by.
