The Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort on Palm Beach has officially completed its extensive, multi-year renovation. The property-wide renovation, which began in September 2023, included a comprehensive update to all guest accommodations and several public areas.

The renovation spanned the original 14-story Tower, the adjacent villas, and the four Beach Towers built in 2009. While the resort has reopened, rooms will be available for booking starting on March 11, 2026.

Guest Room Upgrades

Phase 1 focused on the Tower and villas, where rooms received full interior renovations, including completely rebuilt bathrooms with new fixtures, and kitchens with updated cabinetry, appliances (including dishwashers), and new backsplashes. New flooring was installed in rooms and balconies, along with updated lighting, baseboards, and furniture. Rooms also now feature 65-inch smart TVs, updated artwork, and improved HVAC systems.

Phase 2 updated the Beach Towers, with upgrades including fresh paint, new kitchen cabinetry, upgraded appliances, new mattresses, revised lighting, new balcony furniture, and updated artwork. Additionally, balconies were updated with new flooring and glass railings.

Dining and Public Spaces

Several dining and public areas were also refreshed during the renovation. The Wave Shack bar and grill opened in 2024 along the pool and beach area, offering casual dining. Purebeach and pureocean Restaurants saw updates in seating and furnishings, with additional changes to pureocean to support evening service.

Exterior Work

The resort’s exterior was repainted in a new light gray color palette, although no changes were made to the layout or beachfront access points.

Pricing and Status

With the final room updates complete, all accommodations and public areas are now fully open, and there is no ongoing construction. Room rates start at $785 per night for a studio suite with a queen bed.
