ORANJESTAD, Aruba — A domestic violence incident Aruba Ranchostraat was reported Tuesday morning, prompting a police response to a residence in the area.
Upon arrival, officers determined that the incident involved a recurring domestic dispute between a couple. According to information obtained at the scene, police have previously responded to multiple disturbances at the same address.
Despite the severity of the situation, the female victim declined to file a formal complaint. However, the escalation of the incident resulted in injuries that required medical attention. Ambulance personnel transported the woman to hospital for further treatment.
Police noted that without an official complaint, their legal options remain limited. Authorities continue to encourage victims of domestic violence to report incidents and seek assistance to prevent further harm.
