NV Elmar celebrated its 75th anniversary by donating to 20 social organizations, under the campaign “Junto Nos ta Briya Mas!”. The company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative focused on four areas: sports, culture, sustainability, and social causes for vulnerable groups.
The donations aim to help these organizations continue spreading hope and supporting those in need across Aruba. NV Elmar also thanked participants for helping celebrate its 75 years of illuminating the island.
Recipients by category include:
- Sports: Thrive Foundation, Fundacion Pro Juventud Savannah, Beyond Sport Limit Foundation Aruba, Volunteer Motor Unit Aruba.
- Culture: Fundacion Salvaguardia e Herencia Cultural di Aruba, Stichting Rancho (miniature boat competitions), Aruba PanMan Foundation.
- Sustainability: ScubbleBubbles Foundation, Brenchie’s Lab, The STEM Embassy.
- Social: Teresita Center, YMCA San Nicolas, Sunrise City Coconut Collective, Micky’s Foundation Aruba, ATHA Aruba, Fundashon Hospice Atardi, Fundacion Trampolin pa Trabao, Fundacion Ultimo Deseo Aruba, Fundacion pa Maneho di Adiccion di Aruba, Fundacion FAVI.
For the first time, NV Elmar organized a formal event to present the donations, highlighting the company’s commitment to these causes. Employees were also recognized for participating and supporting the initiative, demonstrating the company’s care for the community.
