Aruba’s tourism industry continues to demonstrate resilience and steady growth. By the end of October 2025, the island maintained strong momentum across major international markets, reinforcing its status as one of the Caribbean’s most stable and desirable destinations for both visitors and investors.

Steady Growth in Arrivals

Aruba welcomed 1,244,756 visitors year-to-date, marking healthy growth compared to the same period in 2024. In October alone, the island recorded 109,990 stayover arrivals—an increase of 5.7% over October 2024. This performance is especially impressive for the fall shoulder season and highlights the sustained demand for Aruba. North America continues to lead in arrivals, followed by strong demand from Latin America and consistent visitation from Europe.

Tourism Snapshot: Year-to-Date (October 2025)

Aruba continues to shine as a top global vacation destination, attracting travelers who seek warm weather, friendly hospitality, and a relaxed island lifestyle. By October 2025, over 1.24 million travelers had already visited the island, reflecting a 4.9% year-over-year increase. Cruise tourism also grew significantly, with 711,403 cruise passengers stopping to explore Aruba’s beaches, dining, and cultural heritage. Visitors spent approximately 8.37 million nights on the island, showing that guests are staying longer and enjoying the One Happy Island experience.

Visitor preferences are also evolving. More travelers are choosing vacation rentals, boutique accommodations, and locally immersed stays, which now account for 38.5% of all nights spent on the island. While EP hotels continue to perform well, the rising interest in unique, home-style lodging shows that visitors want more authentic, local experiences. Many are exploring new neighborhoods, supporting local communities, and forming deeper connections with the island.

Aruba’s charm, hospitality, and vibrant lifestyle continue to make it a top choice for visitors seeking warmth, comfort, and unforgettable island experiences.
