The week began with great news for Zaida Everon, the well-known Aruban artisan baker and owner of T2Pan Sourdough Boutique, located on Caya Taratata 11, near the former KFC building on Avenida Nelson Oduber.
Zaida and her bakery have been officially nominated for the 2026 Caribbean Baking Awards, which will take place during the last weekend of July 2026 in St. Maarten.
Her business, T2Pan Sourdough Boutique, received nominations in two major categories:
- Best Bakery Shop of the Year
- Best Bread or Dough-Based Product
“This recognition means a lot to me. I couldn’t have done it without the love and support of my family, friends, and the community,” said Everon.
Public nominations remain open until February 1, 2026, through the official website: www.bit.ly/premiopan.
Public voting will begin on April 7, 2026.
