A wanted suspect arrested by police in Aruba early Saturday morning after officers recognized him while he was driving during a patrol.
According to the report, police noticed a known individual behind the wheel of a vehicle and stopped it. Because there were three people inside the car, officers requested backup, and two additional patrol units quickly responded to the scene.
The driver was identified as a person already known to police. Reports say he had recently been released, but authorities currently had an order for his search and arrest in connection with another theft case.
Police also found the owner of the vehicle asleep in the back of the car, along with several cloth items and other belongings. However, those items were said to belong to the owner of the vehicle.
The wanted suspect arrested by police was taken into custody and brought to the police station, where he will have to answer questions regarding his alleged involvement in the crime.
