Last night, the Savaneta Masquerade Parade took place, organized by the Savaneta Prome Capital Foundation, chaired by Mr. Norman Thijsen.
A large crowd from Savaneta District and surrounding areas, along with people from other districts, attended the parade and were left both surprised and impressed. Though many of them had not attended other Carnival parades, they were truly captivated by this one in Savaneta.
One particularly notable feature was the participation of FUNARI clients with their electric wheelchairs, which was truly admirable.
The event was spectacular, with the Brass Band Savaneta and several other performers playing magnificently. The parade featured its own kings and queens for different categories: children, youth, adults, and the Carnival queen, each in a unique and exciting display. The large audience thoroughly enjoyed the festivities.
A highlight that stood out, especially for visitors not from Savaneta, was the kindness of the Savaneta residents, who shared water and refreshments with the attendees, even with those they did not know.
This Masquerade Parade served as a beautiful example of hospitality, making the event even more special and leaving everyone delighted. Comments reaching the editorial office highlighted the beautiful initiative from the Savaneta Prome Capital Foundation and the district’s residents. Well done!
