Prime Minister Presents Plaques of Appreciation to NGOs for Their Contributions During the Common Good Conference
ORANJESTAD (AAN) – On Thursday evening, Prime Minister Mike Eman hosted a special meeting at Cocolishi, where he officially presented plaques of appreciation to a group of NGOs and organizations that were unable to receive their plaques during the Common Good Conference.
Through this gesture, Prime Minister Eman reaffirmed that recognition and appreciation for community work are not limited to one moment but are part of a continuous commitment to those who actively contribute to the common good of Aruba.
The organizations receiving plaques of appreciation included Centro di Bario Playa Pabao, Leerorkest, Grupo Folclorico Venezuela, Fundacion Rancho, Funari, Stichting Hunto, FADA, Rosea Cultural, IBiSA, Plan di Bida, Fundacion Smile Mobile, UNESCO, and Centro di Bario Dakota.
These plaques symbolize gratitude for the dedication, perseverance, and positive impact these organizations have had in the community over the years. They are considered essential pillars of the social base of Aruba.
Prime Minister Eman expressed his appreciation for the work each NGO has done in various areas, including social welfare, culture, education, health, community development, and inclusion. According to Prime Minister Eman, the common good is built precisely through the consistent efforts of such organizations, which work closely with people and neighborhoods.
The gathering at Cocolishi fostered an atmosphere of dialogue and mutual recognition, symbolically concluding the gratitude process that began during the Common Good Conference, while also opening the door to strengthening collaboration between the government and civil society.
