In the early hours of the morning, a group of pilgrims was fulfilling their religious penitence to remember the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross during the “Caminda di Cruz.” At one point, a car approached, driving past the pilgrims who were part of the procession. The driver intended to drive through the crowd, but the youth stopped him to draw attention and prevent further disturbance. Police had to intervene to ensure the procession could continue smoothly, guiding the driver and other vehicles off the path. The police remained with the pilgrims, ensuring their safety until they reached the Chapel.
