The Aruba Police responded to a Hit & Run incident on Kamerlingh Onnesstraat late last night.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a Renault vehicle with significant material damage. The driver also showed signs of having been physically assaulted during the incident.

According to the victim’s account, another car, driving at high speed, collided with their vehicle. After the crash, one or more individuals in the other car got out and physically attacked the driver.

Before the police could reach the scene, the suspects had gotten back into their vehicle and fled the area. Authorities advised the victim to file a formal complaint with the investigation department to continue the investigation.
