Elisabeth Timmer swimming record Aruba : The Stingray Swimming Team is extremely proud to announce another significant achievement by our elite athlete, Elisabeth Timmer, who has started the year 2026 with an impressive performance on the international stage. Elisabeth achieved remarkable results early in the 2026 season during the Schwimm Meeting Nettebad 2026 in Osnabrück, Germany.
Although this was her first competition of the year, without a complete training regimen or recent preparation in an Olympic-size pool (50m), Elisabeth demonstrated a high level of consistency and determination. She secured 3 medals and set a new National Record for Aruba.
-
Bronze Medal in the 50-meter backstroke with a time of 30.12, breaking her own previous national record of 30.30, establishing a new record for Aruba in this event.
-
Silver Medal in the 50-meter freestyle with a time of 26.30.
-
Silver Medal in the 100-meter freestyle with a time of 57.19.
While the 100-meter freestyle time has not yet broken a national record, Elisabeth’s performance demonstrates her strong competitive level and firm preparation for the upcoming season.
These results clearly show that Elisabeth is maintaining both her physical and mental form, despite not having specific preparation for high performance. Her professionalism, discipline, and focus continue to raise the level of swimming in Aruba.
The entire Stingray Swimming Team family is immensely proud of Elisabeth and the way she represents Aruba with excellence, perseverance, and sporting ambition. This is just the beginning of the 2026 season, with more competitions, goals, and history to create.
