ORANJESTAD (AAN) – On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, the Aruba Police Force received a notification around 6:00 AM about the discovery of a boat and drug packages in the Colony area. The authorities immediately dispatched units from San Nicolas along with the Organized Crime Department (UGC) to the site.
Upon arrival, the police discovered the boat and several packages of illicit substances. The boat, along with the drugs, was seized for further investigation by the appropriate authorities.
The Aruba Police Force has stated that the case is still under investigation, and detentions related to the case are not ruled out. Additionally, the police have issued an appeal to the community, urging anyone with information to call the police tipline at 11141. The identity of informants will remain anonymous.
