The Aruba Tourism Authority was delighted to recognize Mr. Joseph and Mrs. Maryann Prata from Yonkers, New York, USA, as Emerald Ambassadors of Aruba for their exceptional loyalty and continuous love for the island. This honor was presented during a special ceremony at Casa del Mar Beach Resort.

A Milestone Celebration of Loyalty

The Emerald Ambassador certificate is a prestigious recognition given to guests who have visited Aruba for 35 years or more consecutively. This certificate is presented on behalf of the Minister of Tourism as a token of appreciation and a way to say “Masha Danki” for their continued visits to Aruba.

Three Levels of Recognition

The Aruba Tourism Authority honors loyal visitors at three levels based on their years of consecutive visits:

  • Distinguished Visitor (10+ years of consecutive visits)
  • Goodwill Ambassador (20+ years of consecutive visits)
  • Emerald Ambassador (35+ years of consecutive visits)

Mr. Joseph and Mrs. Maryann Prata were proud recipients of the Emerald Ambassador honor, reflecting their 35+ years of loyal visits to Aruba.

A Heartfelt Tribute to Mr. and Mrs. Prata

Ms. Keyttin Silva, representing the Aruba Tourism Authority, along with staff members of Casa del Mar Beach Resort, presented the Pratas with their Emerald Ambassador certificate, gifts, and sincere thanks for making Aruba their “home away from home.”

Top Reasons for Their Continued Visits

When asked about their reasons for returning to Aruba year after year, Mr. and Mrs. Prata shared the following:

  • Aruba’s perfect weather
  • The warmth and friendliness of the Aruban people
  • Delicious local food and cuisine
  • The excitement of the island’s casinos
  • Excellent shopping opportunities

A Grateful Thank You

On behalf of the Aruba Tourism Authority, we extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Joseph and Mrs. Maryann Prata for their unwavering loyalty to Aruba. Their continued visits to the “One Happy Island” are a testament to the lasting bond guests can form with the island, and we look forward to welcoming them back for many more years to come.
