ORANJESTAD — The Aruba Tourism Authority was delighted to recognize Mr. Thomas and Mrs. Camille Burns as Goodwill Ambassadors of Aruba at Marriott’s Aruba Surf Club. The Burns family was honored for their dedication to the island, celebrating their years of loyal visits and unwavering love for Aruba.

On behalf of the Minister of Tourism, the Aruba Tourism Authority presented the honorary certification as a token of appreciation for guests who have visited Aruba for 10, 20, or 35 years consecutively.

The three levels of recognition are as follows:

  • Distinguished Visitor: 10+ years consecutively visiting Aruba

  • Goodwill Ambassador: 20+ years consecutively visiting Aruba

  • Emerald Ambassador: 35+ years consecutively visiting Aruba

Mr. and Mrs. Burns were presented with the title of Goodwill Ambassadors for their commitment to Aruba over the past 20+ years of continuous visits.

The ceremony was held at Marriott’s Aruba Surf Club, where Ms. Keyttin Silva, representing the Aruba Tourism Authority, and staff members from the resort, awarded the certificate to the Burns family, along with gifts. They expressed their gratitude for Mr. and Mrs. Burns’ loyalty and for choosing Aruba as their “home away from home.”

In a heartfelt moment, Mr. & Mrs. Burns shared their top reasons for returning to Aruba year after year:

  • Aruba’s sun and fun

  • Aruba’s exceptional restaurants

  • Aruba’s safety

  • Aruba’s sense of family

On behalf of the Aruba Tourism Authority, we would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Mr. Thomas and Mrs. Camille Burns for their continued visits to the “One Happy Island.” Their loyalty and love for Aruba are an inspiration to us all.
