Aruba Tourism Authority Honors Loyal Visitors at Marriott’s Aruba Ocean Club

ORANJESTAD – The Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) recently had the honor of recognizing Emerald Ambassadors of Aruba, celebrating their years of loyal visits and love for the island. Mr. Tyron & Mrs. Cheryl Johnson from Fairfax Station, Virginia, United States were presented with a prestigious certificate for their 35 consecutive years of visits to Aruba.

A Token of Appreciation for Longstanding Loyalty

The Emerald Ambassador certification, presented on behalf of the Minister of Tourism, serves as a token of appreciation for those who have visited Aruba for 10, 20, or 35 years consecutively. The ATA, in partnership with Marriott’s Aruba Ocean Club, bestowed the honor upon the Johnsons as a way to express “Masha Danki” (Thank You) for their continued support and dedication to Aruba.

When asked why they keep returning to Aruba, the Johnson family shared their top reasons for their loyalty:
