ORANJESTAD — The Aruba Tourism Authority recently had the honor of recognizing Mrs. Caroline Zurek, a long-time visitor, with the title of Goodwill Ambassador of Aruba at La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino. Mrs. Zurek was celebrated for her continued loyalty, love for the island, and years of memorable visits.

The honorary certification, presented on behalf of the Minister of Tourism, is a token of appreciation and a heartfelt “Masha Danki” to guests who have visited Aruba for 10, 20, or 35 years consecutively.

The three levels of recognition for loyal visitors are as follows:

  • Distinguished Visitor: 10+ years consecutively visiting Aruba

  • Goodwill Ambassador: 20+ years consecutively visiting Aruba

  • Emerald Ambassador: 35+ years consecutively visiting Aruba

Mrs. Zurek was proudly awarded the Goodwill Ambassador distinction for her unwavering dedication to Aruba, with over 20 consecutive years of visits.

The award ceremony took place at La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino, where Ms. Keyttin Silva, representing the Aruba Tourism Authority, and the resort’s staff members, presented Mrs. Zurek with her certificate and gifts. They also expressed their gratitude for her choosing Aruba as her “home away from home.”

In a touching moment, Mrs. Zurek shared the top reasons she continues to return to Aruba:

  • Aruba’s gorgeous weather

  • Aruba’s friendly people

  • Aruba’s safety

  • Aruba’s fantastic food

  • Aruba’s delicious, great-tasting water and many more reasons too numerous to mention

On behalf of the Aruba Tourism Authority, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Mrs. Caroline Zurek for her continued visits to the “One Happy Island.” Her loyalty and love for Aruba serve as an inspiration to many.
