A night filled with great music, eye-catching costumes, energetic dance performances, and powerful sound is what the audience experienced on Saturday night into early Sunday morning at the Aruba Carnival & Entertainment Village during the Aruba Soca Monarch 2026, organized by Stichting MUSICA.
The event took place under ideal conditions, with no rain and a pleasant breeze throughout the night, creating the perfect atmosphere for Carnival celebrations. A total of 13 musical bands took to the stage, each delivering their best performances before an experienced panel of judges and an enthusiastic crowd.
The participating bands were Zeta Band, OREO, D’Nova, Good Times Band, Buleria, Groove Masters, Shine Music, Youth Xtreme, N’Fuzion, Tsunami, Hot Ones Band, Suona, and Duro.
During the evening, a minor issue arose when some musicians expressed concerns regarding the judging panel. As a result, one judge stepped aside and was replaced, allowing the competition to continue smoothly.
Following this brief interruption, the show resumed, and all 31 competing performers gave outstanding performances. One of the most remarkable aspects of the night was the massive turnout. The Carnival Village was filled to capacity, with many noting that the Aruba Soca Monarch has never seen such a large audience before.
The high attendance, vibrant performances, and strong public engagement confirmed the Aruba Soca Monarch 2026 as one of the most memorable editions in recent history.
