ORANJESTAD (AAN) – The Aruba Police Force successfully intercepted 167 kilos of marijuana and arrested three individuals in a coordinated operation led by the Narcotics Unit. The suspects include two Venezuelan men, aged 30 and 35, and a 43-year-old Aruba-born woman.
The operation targeted a property on Cayenastraat and Bakval, where police uncovered a firearm that was also confiscated for further investigation. This well-coordinated raid involved the Arrest Team, Police K-9 Unit, BFTO, and uniformed officers, demonstrating the strength of interdepartmental cooperation.
Authorities have not ruled out the possibility of additional arrests. The public has been urged to report any suspicious activities to the anonymous tip line at 11141.
