A Heartfelt “Masha Danki” from the One Happy Island
The Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) proudly recognized Ms. Jamie Meadows from Lewis Center, Ohio, as a Goodwill Ambassador of Aruba, honoring her over 20 years of continuous visits to the island. The touching ceremony was held at the Bucuti & Tara Boutique Beach Resort, where Ms. Meadows was presented with a certificate, thoughtful gifts, and heartfelt thanks for her unwavering loyalty and deep affection for Aruba.
The honorary title was awarded by Mr. Jorgino Willems, representing the Aruba Tourism Authority, alongside the warm and welcoming staff of Bucuti & Tara. These recognitions—issued on behalf of Aruba’s Minister of Tourism—are part of a tradition to thank long-time guests who have become part of the island’s extended family.
Aruba’s special recognition program features three levels:
-
Distinguished Visitor: Over 10 years of consecutive visits
-
Goodwill Ambassador: Over 20 years
-
Emerald Ambassador: Over 35 years
For Ms. Meadows, the top reasons for returning to Aruba each year include:
-
The kindness and warmth of Aruba’s people
-
The island’s consistently beautiful weather
-
The exceptional hospitality at Bucuti & Tara
-
Reuniting with friends who visit during the same season
On behalf of the Aruba Tourism Authority and the people of Aruba, “Masha Danki” to Ms. Meadows for making Aruba her home away from home. Here’s to many more joyful returns to the One Happy Island!
