ORANJESTAD (AAN) – On Monday evening around 5:15 PM, a serious Aruba ATV accident occurred involving an ATV (quad) on the T-weg near the Pastoor Kranwinkel College in Paradera. Witnesses who arrived at the scene immediately raised the alarm, informing authorities of the severity of the incident.
Police and ambulance units quickly arrived, with the first responding officer finding a male rider lying unconscious on the road, his head near the sidewalk, unresponsive. The ATV was found overturned on the road, nearly reaching the Paradera-Babijn highway.
A significant tire track was visible along the road, suggesting the rider may have lost control at a traffic plateau before crashing. The Aruba ATV accident led to the ATV skidding to the side of the road. Emergency paramedics arrived shortly after, providing urgent care and transporting the rider to the hospital in critical condition. The busy evening traffic from 5:00 to 6:00 PM added to the urgency of the situation.
