AAA’s Wings of Hope Inspires Hope at Scol Caiquetio

The Wings of Hope (WoH) team of Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) recently visited Scol Caiquetio after receiving an invitation from the school on Monday, December 1, for a special celebration recognizing donations made to support the school.

Scol Caiquetio is a primary school dedicated to caring for, educating, and empowering students with diverse learning needs. Its mission is to create an inclusive environment where every child feels heard, guided, and celebrated. As part of its daily routines and educational activities, audiovisual communication plays a vital role in classroom instruction, presentations, celebrations, and enhancing the overall learning experience.

In September, Wings of Hope received a donation request to assist the school with sound equipment for classrooms, enabling clearer communication and a more immersive teaching approach. In appreciation, approximately 50 students and teachers prepared an emotional, creative, and thoughtful presentation for the Wings of Hope team. The program included a dedicated song, a theatrical performance using Wings of Hope and AUA Airport materials, and a special handcrafted gift decorated with wings as a symbol of gratitude for the support received.

Members of the AAA Wings of Hope team expressed their sincere appreciation to the teachers and students for the memorable and meaningful celebration. They noted that moments like these serve as a reminder that every effort and contribution—no matter how small—can bring happiness and hope to those who need it most.

As Corporate Social Responsibility is a core element of AAA’s sustainability strategy and company values, Wings of Hope will continue to seek long-term projects that benefit the wider community and encourage other organizations to do the same.
