ORANJESTAD – The Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) recently had the honor of recognizing Emerald Ambassadors of Aruba, celebrating their years of loyal visits and love for the island. Mr. Tyron & Mrs. Cheryl Johnson from Fairfax Station, Virginia, United States were presented with a prestigious certificate for their 35 consecutive years of visits to Aruba.
A Token of Appreciation for Longstanding Loyalty
The Emerald Ambassador certification, presented on behalf of the Minister of Tourism, serves as a token of appreciation for those who have visited Aruba for 10, 20, or 35 years consecutively. The ATA, in partnership with Marriott’s Aruba Ocean Club, bestowed the honor upon the Johnsons as a way to express “Masha Danki” (Thank You) for their continued support and dedication to Aruba.
Reasons for Returning to Aruba
When asked why they keep returning to Aruba, the Johnson family shared their top reasons for their loyalty:
-
Aruba’s friendly weather
-
Aruba’s welcoming people
-
High-quality accommodations
-
Beautiful beaches
-
Golfing experiences
A Heartfelt Thank You from the Aruba Tourism Authority
On behalf of the Aruba Tourism Authority, we would like to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to Mr. and Mrs. Johnson for choosing Aruba as their vacation destination for over three decades. Their continued visits to “One Happy Island” demonstrate the long-lasting bond between Aruba and its most loyal visitors.
