A Dufi Kock book donation has added two history publications to Aruba’s culture and education departments, according to AWE24’s October 21 report.
Books presented to department leaders
Historian Adolf “Dufi” Kock presented the works to Siegfried Dumfries, director of Departamento di Cultura Aruba (DCA), and Sheila Maduro, acting director of Departamento di Enseñansa Aruba (DEA).
The donated publications are Seccion Historico di Aruba and Mision di Marineronan Noruega. The report describes them as contributions to documenting Aruba’s past and to Papiamento-language historical writing.
Digital availability planned
The departments said they intend to make the books available through their digital platforms in the near future so students, teachers, researchers and other interested readers can consult them.
The report did not provide an online release date or a working access link.
