Kiwanis San Nicolas has installed its board for the 2026–2027 Kiwanis year, with Artaiza Fräser taking office as president.
New board begins under BELIEVE motto
The Kiwanis Club of San Nicolas selected “BELIEVE” as its motto for the coming year. The club said the theme is intended to encourage members and the wider community to remain curious, keep learning and challenge existing ways of thinking while pursuing improvement.
The ceremony also recognized outgoing president Deborah van den Berg-Alexander and the 2025–2026 board for service under the previous year’s “Step It Up” motto.
Leadership team covers programs and membership
Jean-Pierre Solognier will serve as vice president, Evola Vlaun as secretary and Franklin Hoevertsz Jr. as treasurer. Other directors include Jasmin Rasmijn-Laclé for youth and children, Shawn Gordon for fundraising, Netera Brown for public relations and branding, Mirscha Winterdal for community and programs, and Jumira Spier for membership and retention.
Van den Berg-Alexander remains on the team as immediate past president. The club also recognized Vlaun, Jennyfer Geerman, Gordon, Solognier and Brown for their contributions during the previous year.
