Applications remain open through December
ARUMIL recruitment has reopened for young people in Aruba between ages 18 and 27. Defence in the Caribbean is encouraging eligible residents to consider the island’s military training program, with applications accepted through the end of December at the official Dutch defence recruitment website.
Information sessions will explain the work
Organizers plan school information sessions, appearances by Aruba military personnel at career fairs and participation in other events where prospective applicants can learn about training and duties. The activities are intended to give candidates a clearer picture before they apply.
ARUMIL serves within Caribbean Defence
ARUMIL is an operational unit under the Commander of the Naval Forces in the Caribbean. Personnel can be deployed for the three core Defence tasks in the Caribbean. Members serve as Aruba public employees while seconded to the Caribbean naval command.
