ORANJESTAD, Aruba — Aruba public speaking training recently brought together marketing and sales executives from several prominent local companies for an interactive professional development session at the University of Aruba.
Executives from Tropical Bottling Company, Brouwerij Nacional Balashi, Balashi Beer Experience and Gloria participated in the session focused on “Public Speaking & Media Communication.”
The workshop was led by well-known communications professional Mark-Benson Denz and focused on helping participants strengthen the way they communicate with audiences, colleagues and the media.
Modern Communication Techniques Discussed
During the Aruba public speaking training, participants reviewed recent trends and techniques used in modern professional communication.
The session covered how business representatives can communicate messages more clearly and effectively while adapting their approach to different audiences and situations.
Particular attention was also given to dealing with the media.
Marketing and sales professionals often represent their organizations publicly, making strong communication skills important when answering questions, explaining company information or presenting products and services.
The workshop provided participants with practical guidance on how to approach these situations with greater confidence and preparation.
Focus on Media Communication
Media communication formed an important part of the training.
Participants discussed how messages should be structured when communicating publicly and how representatives can ensure the information they provide remains clear and understandable.
Effective media communication can be particularly important for professionals working in marketing and sales, where public perception and brand reputation play major roles.
The training therefore provided an opportunity for participants to evaluate how they currently communicate and consider ways to improve their approach.
Interactive Workshop Encourages Participation
The Aruba public speaking training was designed as an interactive session rather than a traditional lecture.
Participants were encouraged to ask questions throughout the presentation and receive immediate explanations from Denz.
This format allowed executives to discuss specific communication challenges and explore how the techniques presented during the workshop could be applied in real professional situations.
The interaction also gave participants an opportunity to learn from one another’s questions and experiences.
Professional Development for Aruba Businesses
Employees from Tropical Bottling Company, Brouwerij Nacional Balashi, Balashi Beer Experience and Gloria regularly communicate with customers, business partners, media organizations and the wider public.
Strengthening public speaking and communication skills can therefore contribute to clearer messaging and more effective representation of their respective organizations.

Through the Aruba public speaking training, participating marketing and sales professionals gained additional tools for presenting information, engaging audiences and communicating more effectively in their professional roles.
