Pastor Balootje has shared a message emphasizing that speaking truth brings liberty and blessings. Citing passages from the book of John, Balootje stated that knowing the truth is what sets people free. He asserted that truth is fundamental for establishing security within a country, marriage, educational systems, churches, and families.
The pastor argued that while truth can be difficult, it ultimately prevails and cleanses the conscience. He warned that lying is temporary, noting that falsehoods may elevate a person momentarily but will eventually cause them to fall. Quoting Proverbs, Balootje highlighted that truthful lips are established forever, while a lying tongue is only for a moment. He stressed the importance of teaching youth the value of truth in both spiritual and social contexts.
Balootje noted that truth comes from God, whereas the first lie came from the devil. He concluded that where there is a lie, there is no trust.
