ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Police and ambulance personnel responded Sunday afternoon to a traffic accident involving an injured pedestrian near a supermarket in Bubali, Aruba.
According to authorities, the accident occurred when a woman attempted to cross the road in front of the supermarket as a vehicle approached and struck her.
Police temporarily closed the roadway to allow emergency responders to safely assist the injured victim.
Paramedics treated the woman at the scene before transporting her to the hospital for further medical care.
Authorities continued investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
