ORANJESTAD (AAN) – The best runners from several primary schools across Aruba competed last Sunday in the 1K “Divi Links Cross Country” race.
The weather conditions were ideal for running, and the students proudly demonstrated their passion and enthusiasm for athletics throughout the competition.
Several young athletes celebrated strong performances during the event, including Vladjenski and Alexander from Dominicus College in Playa.
Scol Basico Washington also celebrated excellent results from its student athletes. In the girls’ category, Dy-Angely Courtar won the gold medal, Lulu Spijkers earned bronze, Evi Lattinga finished fourth, and Saray Tromp placed fifth.
In the boys’ category, Scol Basico Washington earned gold through Marco Tse, silver through Jaydrien Werleman, fourth place with Clay Spijkers, and fifth place with Isaiah Solognier.
