The Savaneta Marines Open Day Aruba was a great success, attracting a large crowd during the Labor Day celebration.
The Marinierskazerne Savaneta once again hosted its traditional Open Day, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience different aspects of military life. Despite the hot weather, many families and children attended the event.
Visitors were able to explore military equipment, including riding in Anaconda trucks, boarding the Panter cutter of the Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard, and experiencing Super RHIB boats. There were also obstacle courses for children and live demonstrations by firefighters showcasing their skills and equipment.
The Savaneta Marines Open Day Aruba also featured a flea market, classic car displays, food stands, and a beach bar, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere for all attendees.
Marines ensured visitors stayed hydrated throughout the day by providing drinking water, adding to the overall positive experience.
